In Warm Memory of
Cayla Barnes
11/7/2008-7/18/2010
Cayla’s Coats, Inc. is a local non-profit organization that benefits the members of Citrus County. Cayla’s Coats was started in memory of Cayla Barnes. Cayla drowned one afternoon in the waters of Homosassa at the age of 1.
It is our mission to help spread the word of drowning prevention and awareness. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4. By sharing our message of ways to be safe around the water we pledge to have #NotOneMoreDrowning happen.
Cayla’s Coats works to also provide coats for children and adults, both on and off the water. We are working to provide winter coats to those in need as well as Life Jackets to children and adults. Along with providing these valuable assets to our community we are also providing funds to local organizations that offer swimming lessons so that not one child can be denied an opportunity to learn to float and swim.
Beautiful Sweetheart.
